Residential Home Inspections
A residential home inspection will help protect you from costly repairs and hidden safety hazards. At Imperial Home Inspections we always conduct a thorough inspection, backed by 30 years of contracting experience, and provide a non-biased report on the condition of the home. After the inspection we are always available to answer questions and address your concerns.
According to the U.S. Surgeon General:
“Indoor radon gas is the second-leading cause of lung cancer in the United States.” January 2005.
Imperial Home Inspections is fully certified to test for radon in your home and although there exists little-to-no hazard from radon in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, we feel it is still important to offer this service to our valued clients.
With Pre-Listing Home Inspections, you will gain knowledge of potential deal-breaking issues before the buyers do and can control the situation in your time frame and under your conditions.
For a Flat fee of $100.00 we will provide a limited short-form report with photos of major potential “deal- killing” issues with basements, crawl spaces, attics, roofs, and electrical service panels.
Walk through inspections
Buyers can rest assured that a professional home inspector is accompanying them on their walk-through inspection prior to closing. For a fee of $100, Imperial Home Inspections will make sure all is in order AND that the appliances that were shown in the initial inspection are the ones left for you, whether we did the inspection or not. All we require is a copy of the original inspection.
WDI (termite) Inspections
WDIs, or wood destroying insects, can play havoc on a home’s structure, causing thousands of dollars in repairs. Knowing in advance the home’s past and present history of WDIs and keys to preventing future activity is a service that is included free with every home inspection we do.
